Making Grape Jelly

First make a giant mess in the dining room picking through the grapes.

Then make a giant mess of the kitchen and counter by squashing the picked fruit.

Heat the entire house to 220 degrees Fahrenheit while boiling the juice and sugar.

Give yourself a second degree burn while straining the seeds and skins.

And you have jelly.

Lastly, secure for yourself a cute small child to sell your wares.

Maybe have him wear a shirt.

So cute - the child and the pictures of making the jelly! Looks like fun! I love making jelly and jam - we should get together and do that sometime!

I love your naration of the events. Very cute pictures as well.

I just made some grape jelly with my friend. Our process was similar although a little different. We did have 9 kids in the house with 6 of them age 5 and under. It makes for a challenge trying to can and take care of the little ones...but then, you'd know that I'm sure. We did make it through two batches of jelly and have one more to go (didn't have the supplies or the time for the last one).
