Attack of the Frozen Soup

Elijah was making room in the freezer for the new groceries. He was pulling out the frozen soup that was in one of those gallon size ice cream containers. As he swung the frozen soup out of the freezer he made contact with GiddyBugs little head. He feels terrible.
He looks like he is on some pretty heavy duty pain killers.
Mom practices her favorite sport, butterfly stitching.

Gideon got to eat a fruitcicle during the surgery.
All better. Thanks mom!

Do you have a butterfly bandaid? Those work really well to prevent scarring if you put them on right away. Poor GiddyBug.

we posted the updated pics of the butterfly bandaid after you made your comment.

I redid the butterfly bandaid because I forgot to Hydrogen Peroxide it. So the butterfly bandaid pictures are no longer accurate. My second take on the butterfly was better than the first. All the skin pulled together nicely. I called Jen for advice. It was nice to talk to her.

In the bottom two pictures Gideon is concentrating on playing Angry Birds on Matt's archos. That's why he is staring so wierd. He had very little pain which was nice.

He is still asleep this morning after such a long night but I check the cut and it looks really good. And no swelling which is helpful too.

Next you will be doing at home surgery. You go girl.

Haha. No over the counter lidocaine puts somewhat of a damper on home surgery.

There's always whiskey.

Robin, you seriously would make a great nurse. I like the whiskey idea to help the pain so you don't have to hold them down as much.

Love all the posts. It is great to see you all.
